The 7th annual IEEE Wireless and Microwave Technology (WAMI) Conference will be held on
beautiful Sand Key Beach in Clearwater, FL on April 7-8 2005.


The conference will address up-to-date multidisciplinary research needs and interdisciplinary aspects of wireless and RF technology. The program includes oral presentations, poster presentations, and tutorials.

Our two distinguished plenary speakers are both IEEE Fellows:

Dr. Zoltan Cendes, Founder and CTO Ansoft Corporation, will talk on “Recent Trends in Wireless Computer Aided Design”

Dr. John Kosinski, Scientist at the Army Communications and Electronics Research, Development, and Engineering Center (CERDEC I2WD)
will talk on “Wireless Systems for Battlespace Dominance: Basic Research Challenges”


Tutorial Sessions will include:

"High Efficiency Power Amplifiers", a short course by IEEE Fellow, Dr. Steven Cripps.

"Linearization: Reducing Distortion in Power Amplifiers" by Alen Katz of Linearizer Technology

"Enhancing the Performance of Electrically Small Antennas for Wireless Applications" by Richard Remski of Ansoft Corporation.
