Dr. Tom Brazil receives first annual Rudolf Henning Distinguished Mentoring Award.

Sergio Melais, a WAMI Ph.D. student, received the Overall Best Conference Paper Award at the 2009 WAMICON.

Tony Price, a WAMI Ph.D. student, received the Best Student Poster Award at the 2009 WAMICON.

Srinath Balachandran, a WAMI Ph.D. student, will present his research on nanocrystalline diamond RF MEMS switches, at the 2009 International Microwave Symposium in Boston, June 2009.

Dr. Gokhan Mumcu, Ph.D. from The Ohio State University, will join the USF EE Department and WAMI Center in August 2009.

Quenton Bonds, a WAMI Ph.D. student, receives an IEEE MTT Society Graduate Fellowship for biomedical applications in April 2009.
